Taken in the course of seven days, Would You Be My Friend ? is a collective series of photos that captures the life of the children of Siam Reap, telling about how one can experience joy amongst their suffering. The simple longing for a loved is expressed through these photos.

What is going on between MP Lee Bee Wah and Coach Liu Guodong ?
a round ‘pingpong ball’ solved using ’square’ methods.
My older brother, alvin, asked me a question which made me think. what is the meaning behind the design of the old chinese coins (古币)? a rounded exterior with a square hole (外圆内方). the idea of the round exterior (外圆) is how one should treat others with respect and kindness while the square interior (内方) is being strict and discipline to oneself. I am sure STTA understands the philosophy behind this.
As an ex national gymnast, it is clear that the coaches attention will be given priority to athletes and team which has a higher chance on producing good results. Afterall, the main aim is to win medals and bring glory to the country. It is a fact that Coach Liu achieved the olympic results, he should be rewarded. I am sure that is what many singaporeans would like to see as well. Not only that, this is also a form of recognition to fellow foreign coaches. It is clear that many sports are involved in politics.
so . . . what is the outcome from STTA and advisor MP Lee Bee Wah ?
乒乓是圆的还是方的?
Firstly, i would like to congratulate my lecturer, Ms Chew I Jin, newly appointed vice president for Aware. The Aware saga has come to a temporary conclusion, with the old Aware winning the battle. However, both parties are currently in the midst of a debate in the Straits Times. The main focus has shifted from religious views to issues of having sex education in schools.
This case has definitely allowed singaporeans to take notice and understand more about organisations like Aware and issues such as sex education. It is shown that the government does not take any sides as such an incident is not exactly a good thing for a multiracial, multireligious country like singapore. well, we should not just watch but be AWARE.
hmm, at such a short period of time, not only creative t shirt designs are created, there is also a video called ‘josie and the pussycats’ ! singaporeans are artistic and creative afterall !
was down at saint joseph international last sat for the Assisi hospice Charity Funfair. mum was helping out my aunt and her friends at The Pink Ribbon Store. there were around 180 stalls, selling food, fruits, books, toys and games as well. im glad to help in some simple designing for the posters and banner for the stall. despite the swine flu and economic crisis, the event was filled with people ! it was a surprise to see vintage items like vases selling out fast and books as well, which were priced really low. defintely a great event to be at !
