such an irony, soldiers fight in a war vs architects design and built. it takes a lot to create a new architecture, similar to how a mother is going through the pregnancy period. it could take months or even 10 years to see a built work. although they are fighting for the country, they are also destroying the architecture around us, does that make them enemies of architects ? hahaha just some random thought
had a gathering with the gym people, mostly the guys and teammates wei, bilah and joy ! it was great catching up with them, considering that i havent met most of them since i stopped training, which was like 4 years ago ?! haha.. theyve grown a lot ! especially aizat and also daniel which i cldnt recognise at all.. most of them are in ns alr ! time flies…. anyway thanks kangwei for having us over for the bbq. see you guys again !
before the guys enlist, we had a group trip SnapIt! on tuesday ! zenas proposed it, fred did the route planning, together with zeeson, haowen, shawn, clifford and chris we went around with our dslrs.. we visited chijmes, st andrew cathedral, supreme court, botanics, singapore flyer and the esplanade.. tho it wasnt a very big grp, it was a very enjoyable session !
haowen and i visited the marina barrage hoping to get some ‘inspiration’ for greenwave. the weather was crazy ! we couldnt bear to walk up the green roof.. had to give it a miss because it was freaking hot, so we stayed in the shaded areas and went into the airconditioned gallery. the walkthrough was interesting, do visit it when you are free !
I did an event shoot at the Singapore Book Fair for Just Education Pte Ltd. they had two booths located at different levels, i guess it was catering to the different crowds. the graphics were quite well done as compared to the other booths around.. it was nice to see my st nicks teacher, Mrs Fung and gym coaches Mr and Mrs Gan at the book fair as well.. my hand was kinda numb after the 4 hrs shoot !
